Sourav Ganguly is India’s most successful batsman in the Champions trophy. The left-hander performed the dual role of leading the side as well as playing in the top order.
The burden of such responsibilities, fortunately, had very little effect on his performances. In all, Ganguly played in 13 matches from 1998 till 2004 and ended with 665 runs.
Bad form and controversies later did not allow him to feature again in the Champions Trophy. However, his impact was good enough to make him one of the most successful batsmen in Champion Trophy’s history.
