Shivnarine Chanderpaul – 587 (West Indies)

Shivnarine Chanderpaul can be easily named as one of the last prominent test cricketers from the declining West Indies era of cricket.
The unorthodox left-handed batsman, known for his unusual front on batting stance, held the Windies batting order for a long time and often was one of the best bets in under pressure situation.
His effectiveness was on display in the Champions Trophy as well where he finished with 587 runs at an impressive average of 53.36 in 16 matches and was also a part of the 2004 title winning side.
