- West Indies – 24 matches:
Despite their dismal record in bilateral ties over the last decade, West Indies have somehow managed to surprise everyone with their performances in the ICC Champions Trophy.
The winners of the 2004 edition in England, have enjoyed decent success in this particular tournament having played a total of 24 games. Their performances have always revolved around the destructive displays of opener Chris Gayle, who remains among the top run-getters in the competition.
As ironic as it may sound, the winners of 2004, runners-up of 1998 and 2006, won’t even play in this edition, as they failed to make it to the top eight teams during the cut-off date. That brings about an absolute low for the poorly managed West Indies Cricket Board.
