The year 2017 has been a sensational year as far as limited overs cricket and ODI’s are concerned. The highlight of this year has been the victorious Champions Trophy campaign for Pakistan in June when no one gave them a chance ahead of the start of the tournament.

Even in the opening match, they were steamrolled by a strong Indian side but came back to defeat the same opponents in the finals by a massive margin of 180 runs.

The bowler who made the turnaround for Pakistan in the tournament was speedster Hasan Ali who bowled with venom and troubled the opposition batsman on a consistent basis.

He carried on his success from the tournament in the future matches and ended the year as the highest wicket taker with 45 wickets behind his name in just 18 games at a sensational average of 17.04.
