Kolkata Knight Riders have always remained a dark horse in IPL and since 2011, the team has had a good run in the tournament, also winning the trophy in 2012 and 2014. The team failed to qualify for playoffs in IPL 2013, 2015 and 2018 but has always been one of the favourites.
This year, KKR did not have a good run as they could not qualify for the playoffs. Injuries, scheduling and bowling issues were the reasons behind the team’s failure and going ahead, the franchise is expected to make changes in the team.
