The England all-rounder was a surprise pick by KKR during the auction. He was bought by the team at his base price of Rs 1 Crore in the accelerated auction process. He got to play just one match against Delhi Capitals in which he was bowled by Ishant Sharma on the first ball of the match.
He also had an early exit from the tournament and keeping in mind the fact that unavailability issue will continue next year as well, he could be in line to be released by the franchise.
