The Pakistan cricketer, Babar Azam, is the strong contender to break the record of Sachin Tendulkar. His records speak for himself. At the age of 25 years, he has already 11 centuries and 15 half-centuries in 72 innings played in ODIs.
Since his debut in 2015, the right-hand batsman has become one of the indispensable parts of the Pakistan team. He is placed third when it comes to the ICC Men’s ODI rankings only behind Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Azam is compared with the likes of Kane Williamson and Kohli for his batting style. If he continues to perform at the same rate, it is obvious that Babar Azam will end becoming one of the greatest heroes of Pakistan Cricket.
