Throughout his career, Ganguly never shied away from taking bold decisions. His decision to bat first in cloudy conditions at Headingley in 2002 proved to be a masterstroke as India went on to defeat England by an innings and 46 runs. His decision to promote Sehwag as an opener is probably the biggest and best decision of his career as Sehwag went on to become one of the finest openers of the game.
