Although New Zealand have produced plenty of great batsmen over the years, Martin Crowe definitely sits on top of them all. Crowe was one of the most dominant batsmen f his era and bowlers feared to face him on the field.

In 1991, Martin Crowe played his greatest Test knock when he was dismissed on 299 runs against Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, he missed his triple century by only one run. His efforts helped the Kiwis to salvage a draw in a game that saw almost out of their hands after the first innings.
