With the 2019 World Cup two weeks away, the players from each are bracing up for the mega challenge. Meanwhile, the World Cup will commence from May 30 when hosts England will face South Africa in the curtain raiser. Besides, we weigh in for the potential batters who could smash a double hundred in the ODI showpiece.

Interestingly, Gayle has a double hundred to his which came during the ICC World Cup 2015 while taking on Zimbabwe. He just consumed 147 balls for his maiden debut double ton.
The long-standing player for the Windies, Gayle has featured in 289 ODIs in which he accumulated 10,151 runs at an average of 38.2. He has 25 hundreds to his name since 1999.
New Zealand opener Martin Guptill is another batsman who loves to take on the opposition’s bowlers right from the get-go. The prolific batsman has slammed a double hundred during the 2015 World Cup.
Known for taking the responsibility Guptill has slammed unbeaten 237 in the quarterfinal against Windies.
Since 2009, Guptill has scored 6,440 runs at an average of 43.5

Arguably the most dangerous opening batsman, David Warner has been in the form of his life. While walking out as the top run-getter in the IPL 2019, Warner has been the cornerstone for Australian cricket.
The high-quality batsman would be keen to make his return memorable. All in all, he has the ability to struck a beautiful double ton.
With his highest score of 179, Warner has amassed 4,343 runs in 106 ODIs.
Fakhar Zaman has been picked for his attacking instinct. In the recent past, the southpaw has played some quality knocks which recently saw him slamming a hundred in the ongoing five-match series against England.
The big-hitter of the ball, Zaman has also a double hundred to his name which came against Zimbabwe in 2018.
So, Fakhar is amongst the players who have all the potential to achieve the double hundred mark.
The former Navy sailor Zaman has featured in 33 ODIs in which he has amassed 1583 runs at an average of 54.58. He has already scored four hundreds in the day-long format.
