The hero of the 2011 World Cup will always be remembered for his fearless approach towards any bowling line up. Yuvraj Singh has won many games single-handedly for his team with his powerful strokeplay.

The left-hander was strong on both sides of the wickets. Yuvraj Singh’s powerful drives and destructive square cuts would often unsettle the fast bowlers, especially on fats tracks. His flicks on the onside were a treat to watch.

Yuvraj Singh was quick to capitalize on any short of length deliveries with his hand-eye coordination and powerful pull shots. Yuvraj Singh was handy with the ball and had this knack of picking wickets during crucial situations.  Yuvraj Singh was a terrific fielder at point and manned that area with authority. His partnership with Mohammad kaif in the final of the Natwest trophy in England in 2002 was simply outstanding. Yuvraj was a warrior on and off the field who fought off a deadly disease like cancer with strong will and made a comeback. Although he couldn’t perform to his expectations, Yuvraj will remain an inspiration for many worldwide.
