No-look run-out – Dhoni has always been famous for his swift moves. There is a difference of just a millisecond in Dhoni grabbing the ball behind the stumps and then dislodging the bails. It has been often said that if Dhoni is celebrating a stumping chance behind the wickets, then umpire should not go up to the third umpire. But stumping is not only his specialty, as it lies in other acts as well.
In the year 2016, M.S. Dhoni did something unusual, which a common man cannot imagine. He attempted a blindside run-out and was successful in that. He was standing with a face towards the outfield, with his back to the stumps. Turning back and then attempting to shoot the stumps could have been a waste of time so Dhoni decided to aim at the stumps without looking at it. He just grabbed the ball and threw it back without even looking at the three sticks. The ball then went onto hit the stumps and Dhoni pulled off one of the best run-out’s in the history of cricket. The batsman was surprised so was the crowd. No one had words to describe this bravura act from M.S. Dhoni.
