A veteran of the Australian domestic cricket, Michael Klinger is best remembered by Indian fans for his brilliant batting display in Champions League T20 in 2010. One of the most experienced T20 player in the world, Klinger has scored 3765 runs in 120 T20 matches at an average of over 38. He has hit 6 centuries and 22 half-centuries in his T20 career with 126* being his highest score. He was bought by the now-defunct Kochi Tuskers Kerela in 2011 but featured in only four matches, scoring only 73 runs. He was never given another chance to showcase his talent in the cash-rich league.
