Bangladesh wins maiden Test vs. Australia
Ahead of the series against Australia, the Bangladesh camp had boasted of a 2-0 outcome in their favor. Despite not winning a single match against the Aussies ahead of the series such confidence was surely a huge thing. The Aussies who are a master at mind games were surprised with their opinion, but after losing the opening Test, their mouths will shut up.
After winning the toss, Bangladesh posted 260 on the board on the back of some sensible knocks by Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan. It was Shakib yet again with the ball in and which triggered the Aussie collapse in both the innings. After securing a lead of 43 runs, Bangladesh set Australia a target of 264 to chase. It was Shakib’s fifer once again which helped the home team to win their maiden Test against Australia by 20 runs.
