Creating Daddy’s Army:
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had made a comeback in the 2018 IPL season after a two-year ban. What looked surprising that most of the team members were in their ’40s or were approaching 40 which is why the team was named Daddy’s army. But the result came as a big shock for many, as Chennai Super Kings won the tournament.
Shane Watson who had retired in 2016 hit 2 centuries in that edition while MS Dhoni was the stand out performer in the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The skipper hit a cracking century in that game. The wicket-keeper batsman trusted in the abilities of his fellow veterans.
