Former Sri Lankan captain Sanath Jayasuriya led the team in 156 international matches. As a captain, he was awarded 21 times as the man of the match. Jayasuriya is credited to bring revolution in ODI format with his explosive batting style. The power hitter was one of the greatest batsmen of his era.
Like Jayasuriya, former South African cricketer Graeme Smith also has an equal number of MoM as the captain. He led the team in 286 international matches. In total, he has represented in 117 Tests, 197 ODIs, and 33 T20Is. Recently, he was appointed as the director of cricket of South Africa.
