- Home series against India:
South Africa will end 2017 with a four-match series and a limited-overs assignment against India at home. The last time India toured South Africa in late 2013, the South Africans had the upper hand as India returned from the tour without a single win. This Indian team however, is a resurgent unit with a stern leader in charge. Most importantly, the bowling department for India has struck a chord with the setup and the likes of Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma are genuine wicket takers. Absolutely safe to say, the hosts won’t have all things going their way this time around.
