The holder of the Purple Cap from last season, Dwayne Bravo has continued his superb time in the World T20 into the IPL and has already helped his side with both the bat and the ball. He is a smart bowler who has lots of tricks up his sleeve and has already consumed 6 scalps this season. His economy has been on the higher side but he more than makes it up by picking crucial wickets when his team needs them. He has not gone wicketless in a single game and his best of 4/22 against the KIXP gave the Lions their first ever victory in the IPL. He will surely be a strong contender for the Purple Cap this year.
