Bangladesh player Mushfiqur Rahim has also come in front to put his bat, from which he scored his maiden Test double-hundred, into the auction, to raise funds to fight against the deadly virus.

From that bat, Rahim slammed 200 runs off 321 balls in a match against Sri Lanka in Galle in 2013. Also, he became the first Bangladeshi batsman to score a doubleton. So, that bat is special for Rahim from which he created history.

“If through this sacrifice I can help one or two people than that will be my biggest achievement. If I find a good response in the auction for the bat then I have got a few more things that I will put up in the auction. I don’t think there is nothing important than helping out people during their time of distress,” he said.
