Ajit Agarkar was although one of the most lethal fast bowlers of his time, no one can deny the fact that he was a quality batsman too. Though he used to be pretty expensive, his wicket-taking capability set him apart. From 191 ODI’s, he scalped up 288 wickets at a stunning average of 27. As per statistics, his ODI bowling record is better than one of India’s best fast bowlers, Zaheer Khan. However, he is certainly among those cricketers who never got the respect that they truly deserved.
