Toggle1. James Taylor:
England cricketer James Taylor announced his shocking retirement from international cricket due to a serious heart condition called ARVC (Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Arrhythmia). Taylor pulled off from a game against Cambridge MCCU which was believed to be viral but further tests and scans had a piece of sad news for the 26-year-old right-handed batsman.
Taylor was one of the most accomplished batsmen England possessed and has done a reasonable job in One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
James Taylor represented England in the Under-19 World Cup and went on to make his international debut at the age of just 19. It was his textbook technique and hunger for runs brought him into the reckoning of national selection.
He would have been a dependable middle-order batsman had his health allowed him to play but he has been since forced to try his hand in coaching and commentary off late.
