5 Current Indian players who should play county cricket 1

The Indian Cricket team have lost series abroad from the last 4 years. Former players like Zaheer Khan, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman have gone to England and played county cricket to improve their skills. This helped them to perform well overseas  improving their batting techqiune in tough batting conditions. But in modern day, because of hectic schedule, current Indian players in off season do not want to play domestic cricket. They want to rest rather than improving their skills. Here we look at 5 Current Indian players who should play county cricket.

  1. Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan made his test debut against Australia in 2013 at Mohali. He scored 187 during the match. In 2013 the team toured South Africa for 2 test matches. He struggled during those two test matches and then went to New Zealand continuing his poor form. The selectors dropped him from the test squad.

He continued to struggle in India’s tour to Australia in 2014/2015. His technique was poor in that series and got out by other catch or bowled. He needs to improve as opener in conditions which help the fast bowlers.

He has played 19 test matches and scored 1308 runs with an average of 40. 87. His most of runs has come on Indian soil.  He needs to improve his technique to survive in conditions which helps fast bowlers. Dhawan needs to play atleast 1 whole season in England.
