Munaf Patel as a lead bowler of Rajasthan Royals in first three seasons before moving to Mumbai Indians for next three years. He served as the lead bowler of both teams. His IPl career scalp is better than any other Indian bowler. He picked up 73 wickets in just 61 games at an average of 22.47. His strike rate is 17.9, highest for any Indian pacer with minimum 70 wickets and only behind Malinga and Bravo in overall. After 2013, he lost his form and fitness hence went far from the league.
