Undisputedly he is the finest ever Pakistan cricketer. In the 1970s and 1980s, he brought the sex appeal in the cricket of Subcontinent. His never say die attitude and eternal handsomeness made him an enigma of Pakistan cricket. The millions of Pakistani  fans never thought to ball reverse swinger on a baked square, but Imran has changed everything in Pakistan about cricket. Many started dreaming of bowling like him.

Imran also made him an allrounder. Under his inspiring captaincy, Pakistan won the 1992 World Cup Down Under. He played hardly any domestic cricket in Pakistan. He flew to Pakistan from London whenever required as he used to play for Worcestershire or Sussex.  He and Ina Botham rose in international at the same time. But when Botham’s cricket career started declining Imran got batter and batter. In the last 10 years of his career, his batting average was above 50 and 19 with the ball.

Imran’s attitude mattered all for Pakistan during the series against West indies as under his captaincy Pakistan drew three series with the later at a time when other countries falling like a left the battlegrounds. Pakistan won the first England Test series under his captaincy.

This great all-rounder needed his career with 37 batting average and 22 bowling average. His flamboyant stature and  batting and bowling skills are perfect blends for IPL and T20 cricket.
