Former Indian skipper and batsman Sourav Ganguly have established himself as some sort of master in giving witty replies. Whether it was during his playing days or in his recent role as a TV commentator, Ganguly has been brilliant in his use of wit.
One of the instances dates back to his time as Indian captain. In a press conference prior to a series against Pakistan, Sourav was questioned about how team India will handle “Rawalpindi Express” Shoaib Akhtar on the tour.
His epic response to this question was, “It’s simple. We will try and pull the chain and stop the train midway.” With such comments, Sourav Ganguly proved that he is also the ‘Dada’ of witty responses.
