2 “Well, whose loss is that?”: Virender Sehwag
Former dashing Indian opener Virender Sehwag has been one of the greatest superstars of the modern day game. This is a major reason why the media tried to get under his skin quite a bit during his playing days. Unfortunately for them, though, they were hardly ever able to do so thanks to Sehwag’s quick witted replies.
During an interview, a journalist asked Virender Sehwag, “Do you know you may never play for India again?” The Nawab of Najafgarh came up with a true masterpiece of a reply when he said, “Well, whose loss is that?”
It was one of the greatest examples of Sehwag leaving the media dumbstruck with his wit.
