Wahab Riaz

Cricketers

The Pakistan fast bowler is an aggressive fast bowler. In 2015 World Cup quarterfinal match against  Australia at Gabba, Brisbane bowled the spell of his life.  Pakistan batting first scored 213 all out in 49.5 overs.  Josh Hazlewood led Australia’s bowling unit to wreak havoc on the Pakistan batting attack picking four wickets. Australia lost their first wicket for 15 runs in the form of Aaron Finch and then at 49 David Warner was dismissed by Wahab Riaz.

Steve Smith scored  65 run innings, but  Michael Clarke’s dismissal put Australia at a shaky position  When Shane Watson came to bat Riaz was bowling with searing pace and bounce at the fast Gabba pitch.  It was the most exciting moment of the 2015 World Cup. Riaz once got a chance to take the wicket of Watson, but the catch was dropped.

Riaz sledged Watson, but the Aussie held his nerve and won the match for Australia. He is surely among the hot-headed cricketers in the world.
