Five Indian Players Who Might Make A Comeback In The ODI Series Against South Africa
The Indian cricket team is currently busy playing the Test series against New Zealand. Although Virat Kohli and co. have already lost the first Test match, they will head to play the last Test match of the series, which will begin from 29th February. The absence of major players in the Indian team was also the major factor of India’s defeat. Before playing the Test series, the Men in Blue had also lost the ODI series with 3-0.
The reason for India’s loss in the one-day contest was somewhere because of a lack of appropriate replacement of injured players. Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Rohit Sharma were absent in the squad because they were suffering from injuries.
Meanwhile, after completing the New Zealand tour, India will head to play the ODI series against South Africa at home. And in this series, some players might make a comeback in the Indian team.
List Of Five Indian Players Who Might Make A Comeback In The ODI Series Against South Africa:
India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma got himself injured during the T20I series against New Zealand. In the last T20I match of the series, the opener surfaced with a calf injury while running between the wickets. He was then ruled out of the remaining New Zealand tour.
The player is expected to make a comeback in the ODI series against South Africa which will begin from 12th March. It is the only international series before the start of the Indian Premier League 2020. So, Rohit Sharma will like to test himself against the Proteas.
