The on-going year will probably act as a stepping stone for a new dawn in Indian cricket as it witnessed quite a few young guns making their way into the team and their impressive performances are going to made them a regular in the Indian team sooner than later. And with the ICC Champions Trophy and World Cup to be played in 2017 and 2019 respectively, the Indian team management will surely look to give the youngsters maximum chance to get them ready for the World Cup. So here we are presenting to you five players who might say goodbye to their dreams of playing for India in 2017.
5. Ambati Rayudu:

He has been a prolific scorer in the domestic circuit and Indian Premier League. However, he was never considered seriously by the selectors and was given a chance to play for India only against smaller teams. With the team willing to give the youngsters as much exposure as possible, the 30-year old middle-order batsman’s stint with the Indian team might get over in the very next year.
4. Suresh Raina:

He has been an integral part of India’s limited overs team but despite spending such a long time at the top he still has not sorted out the problems in his batting. With the Champions Trophy and World Cup to be scheduled in England, where the pitches will offer good carry and bounce, it is quite possible that the selectors will give the youngsters a chance instead of Raina.
