Despite hitting Axar Patel for 23 runs in last IPL match of both KXIP and RPSG, Dhoni has kept his faith in the young all-rounder. Axar has ensured Dhoni with his outstanding bowling as he gave only 64 runs in 27.3 overs he has bowled in the tour at a staggering economy of 2.32 and he also picked a wicket in each of the three ODIs.
Axar could again hold the Indian bowling together with his spin as containing boundaries in T20s plays an important role in picking up wickets.
