As all of you are very much aware that T20 World Cup 2016 will be held in our home, this will be the first time that India will be hosting this tournament since its inception. Other two active Asian nations, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh had already done it in 2012 and 2014 respectively, and with international cricket temporarily being suspended in Paksitan due to security reasons, India will be the third country from the continent to do so. After the historic 2011 World Cup, which was jointly co-hosted, this will be the first major ICC tournament hosted by India alone.
Interestingly, every year, in the month of April and May, a T20 extravaganza called IPL is held in India. Its considered to be the most fiercely fought T20 competition in the world. Every edition has some revelation in the form of an uncapped player whose eminence in the game simply makes our jaws dropped.
Now with the T20 World Cup being held in our home ground, this is an absolutely brilliant chance for these young players to perform for their country and make the nation as well as themselves proud.
Lets take a look at 5 such uncapped players who can make it to the Indian team in the T20 World Cup 2016:
Shreyas Iyer

The 20-year old young talent has been the discovery of the IPL edition of 2015. The way Iyer batted in the entire competition, it did not seem as if he was a rookie. His ability to play big shots to all parts of the ground made him an instant sensation.
His IPL team, Delhi Daredevils might not have made any impact in the competition but he definitely did make a long-lasting one, which earned him a place in the India-A squad. It won’t be a much of a surprise if we see him battling out for India next year.
Suryakumar Yadav

The Mumbai skipper, and a key member of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad, is usually known as an explosive batsman, who can take away the game from the opposition any time. His impeccable timing is his strength. If India feels the need to go into the competition with a finisher, Yadav can find himself wearing the blue cap !
Yuzvendra Chahal

The 24 year old from Haryana has produced some quality leg-spin both for his IPL franchise Royal Challenger Bangalore and his state. His attacking spin bowling has been widely effective in the Indian conditions as he has been in successful constantly in gaining crucial wickets. If Ravindra Jadeja and Karn Sharma are both dropped from the squad, selectors might choose to go with Chahal along with Axar Patel as spinning options for the competition.
Sanju Samson

Samson already got an India call for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour in the place of injured Ambati Rayudu. So we can assume that the Indian selectors are already considering the 20 year-old wicket-keeper batsman as a replacement to Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the limited overs format. If Dhoni gets injured before the tournament or India decides to go with an additional keeper, it just might open the door for the young Keralite in the natinal T20 squad.
Sandeep Sharma

Sharma is already with the Indian team which is currently touring Zimbabwe. Sharma is a gifted swing bowler, the initial swing which he generates early in the game proves to be quiet lethal which is evident from the fact that his IPL team Kings XI Punjab has been banking on. He has widely been successful in clinching major breakthroughs and has the ability to swing the ball both sides of the seam. In the recent past, regular Indian pacers have been out of form which might put Sharma in contention of making it to the final squad.
