After 1 and half months of grueling fight between 8 teams, the top-2 teams in the Indian Premier League will fight for the trophy. It promises be a mouthwatering clash between two heavyweights. It will interest to watch which of these openers can give the team a good start and creates pressure on the other team.
2. Malinga vs. Ashish Nehra
Malinga has been the go-to man for Mumbai Indians. He was not able to perform well in the first few matches but when the crucial situation came he performed well and helped Mumbai Indians to qualify for the finals. As for Nehra, he has created pressure on the opponents by taking early wickets for his team. It promises to be an exciting battle to see that which one of these bowlers can deliver for his team.
3. Harbhajan vs. Ashwin
Harbhajan Singh is a seasoned player and has done well for Mumbai Indians this season. He has bowled well and also done exceptionally well. As far Ashwin he has improved as a bowler and can bowl anytime for Dhoni. With both spinners doing great job for their teams it will be interesting to witness which spinner can put pressure on the batsmen in the middle overs.
4. Dhoni vs. Rohit Sharma
Dhoni is one of the greatest captains in Indian cricket. He has done brilliantly well for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 8. With the bat he has also contributed coming in at number 4 and leading from the front which will help Chennai Super Kings to overcome Mumbai whereas Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma also needs to come up the order. He has done well to keep the spirits of the team high and with two good captains it promises to a thrilling and mouthwatering clash
5. Dwayne Bravo vs. Kieron Pollard
Dwayne Bravo has been the main bowler for Chennai Super Kings in death overs. He has been leading wicket-taker in the tournament. His variations in death overs are difficult to read whereas Pollard has performed well but needs to step up when the team requires the most.
