Ishant Sharma is, currently, the spearhead of India’s fast bowling attack in Test cricket. He shined under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, reaching great heights in the extended format.
Ishant made the debut in 2007 and enjoyed early success. However, his form dipped but soon he recovered his form back. Although he has lost his place in short formats, he is the lynchpin in Tests.
He has, so far, played 97 Tests and picked up 297 wickets, including 10 four-wickets haul and 11 five-wicket hauls. The tall and lanky pacer has also featured 80 ODIs, picking 115 Tests.
