The bowling-allrounder Ravichandran Ashwin is the most expected name on this list. He first hogged MS Dhoni’s eye after his outstanding bowling performance for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier league in 2013. Dhoni instantly called the spinner to play for Team India and thereon, Ashwin bagged several records in bowling.

He has scored 2389 runs in 71 Tests at an average of 28.11 and snared has 365 Tet wicket. In 111 ODIs, he has taken 150 wickets of 32.91. Whereas in 46 T20 matches, Ashwin has taken 52 wickets at an average of 22.94.

However, the spinner has lost his place in white-ball cricket but he is still the prominent bowler for India in Test cricket.
