India’s fast-bowling spearhead Ishant Sharma end up with a fat paycheck of 3.8 Crores. The fast-bowler was the only reliable name in the bowling attack which otherwise featured Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, Ankit Sharma, Scott Boland and others. These names were either untested ones or were already past their prime. The tall fast-bowler, unfortunately, could play in only four matches in which he took just three wickets. In fact, his last few seasons have been disappointing. But Ishant would be eagerly waiting for the upcoming season to reinvent his mojo in the IPL and prove his worth as the country’s best fast-bowler.
