Thisara Perera – 1 Crore:
Sri Lanka all-rounder Thisara Perera was a surprise pick. The aggressive batsman cum seam bowler has never been able to gain a permanent place in an IPL team as he has already played for Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad before landing a contract with Pune. He could not justify his huge price much as his performances were a bit under par as far as his reputation is concerned. His overall IPL figures also don’t seem much impressive though he has the ability to improve them drastically.
