The right-arm pacer was bought in the IPL 2020 auction by Delhi Capitals. Tushar has played 16 first-class, 19 List A and 20 T20s for Mumbai in the domestic cricket.

The 24-year-old Deshpande first came in the limelight when he took a five-wicket haul in the quarter-finals of his debut season of Ranji Trophy 2018-2019.

Deshpande has picked 31, 21 and 45 wickets in 20 T20s, 19 List A and 16 first-class cricket respectively. The national selectors will surely be tested in his IPL 2020 debut.
