Hardik Pandya:
Another player with great potentials both with the bat and ball, Pandya caught the eyes with an unbeaten 31-ball 61 for Mumbai Indians against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2015. He performed well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali domestic T20 tournament in January 2016 and finished as the leading run-getter, for Baroda, with 377 runs in 10 innings at an average of 53.85 and also took 10 wickets.
The all-round display earned him a call up for India’s limited-overs tour to Australia, where he made his international debut. He impressed during the Asia Cup but a string of failures with the bat in this year’s IPL made him lose his spot in the Indian team. However, he was selected for India A’s tour of Australia and if he performs consistently he can definitely replace Raina in the team.
