The Mumbai batsman shot into prominence after emerging as the highest run-scorer for Mumbai in Ranji trophy in only his second season. After a dismal performance in 2012-13 season, he was once again among runs in the 2013-14 season.
The right-handed batsman signed for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 season. And since then he has become one of the batting mainstays of the Kolkata franchise. He has finished the game for the Knights on several occasions and is definitely one to look out for.
