A consistent performer in the domestic circuit, Pandey ended the recently concluded Quadrangular series in Australia as its highest scorer. The Karnataka batsman scored 359 runs in 7 matches with the help of two tons and 1 fifty.
With the selectors looking to build a team full of youngsters, Pandey would have been a good addition.
