The West Indies hard-hitting batsman Chris Gayle is silent over his retirement from international cricket. He last featured in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 after which he hasn’t featured for the national team.

Earlier, he has said that he will take retirement after featuring in the World Cup. Taking to social media, Virat Kohli and many other cricketers wrote a farewell note to the cricketer after he played the last game of the tournament. But what came as a surprise that he took a U-turn from his own statement. Well, he has done it multiple times as he has come back to play again.

However, the 40-year old should retire from the game with respect. Besides, he will surely feature in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
