Even India’s most decorated skipper could not get the support of the fans during the tough times. The Indian team was performing badly in Tests in overseas condition as a result pressure was mounting on Dhoni. His form with the bat added more pressure on him. Unable to cope up with so much pressure and criticism from fans, he retired from Tests in 2014 at the age of 33.
