5 Players India Need To Groom For ICC World Cup 2023 Well, after the debacle in the ICC World Cup 2019, the Indian National Cricket Team would like to start their process again for the next ICC  World Cup 2023. For the same, they have already given call-ups to the youngsters, who could be pivotal for the Indian team in the grand event.

They already called player like Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer into the side for the series against Windies Cricket Team. However, this shouldn’t be the end of the campaign for the youngsters even if they fail to get going at the start.

Saini, who can clock a speed of 150 Kmph, was the second-highest wicket-taker in the 5-match unofficial ODI series for India A in the West Indies. Navdeep has also impressed with his pace in his first IPL season and was the fastest among Indians, clocking 152.85 Kmph, which was second only to South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada‘s at 154.23 kph.

Saini who has been a consistent performer in the domestic circuit plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. In the 2019 season, he picked 11 wickets in 13 matches, bowling 141 dot balls. He was one of the strong contenders for Purple cap during his side in the race.

Saini has shown penchant of getting something out of the flat Indian pitches and making the batsmen uncomfortable with pace and bounce. He was the leading wicket-taker for Delhi in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy, with 34 dismissals in eight matches. Well, all those positives will certainly see him being groomed by the board.
