Misbah ul Haq (Pakistan):
Born in May 1974, Misbah ul Haq is currently the oldest player to be actively pursuing test cricket. He is the skipper of the Pakistan side that has travelled to England and has been one of the most impressive players for his side.
Leading his country at the age of 42, Misbah ul Haq has led his side from the front and scored a sizzling century at Lords, his first on the ground on his way to his 10th test century. He made his debut for the national team at the age of 27 and has ever since been the backbone of the side in most of the test series. He has been an important player for Pakistan in the last 4-5 ICC events and he also won his side the World T20 back before the turn of the decade.
There are rumors that it this might be his last tour but the way he has played in England tells that he is good enough to continue for a longer time.
