After a scintillating series victory over England in the Test series, India would like to continue their winning form in the One Day series as well. However, India is facing some problems in selecting the One Day side that would face England as the list of injuries are going on increasing. The latest player injured is Ajinkya Rahane who has been ruled out of the One-Day Series.

Suresh Raina : Suresh Raina last featured in a One Day International match in December 2015 after which he was dropped from the side due to his inconsistency. But he is back in form now and Rahane’s absence might well be the opportunity for him if called up. Raina has shown fine form in the Ranji for which the selectors might consider him for the series against England.
