This was a predictable name. The legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was when promoted at the opening position, he never stopped scoring runs for India. Entered the field at 16 years, he caught the eyes with his blistering performance.

He has played the most number of matches on different venues – 42. He played 200 matches, scoring 15921 runs at an average of 53.78.

Tendulkar also scored 51 Test centuries and 68 half-centuries in the longest format and added plenty of records to his name.
