The only worry for this mighty talented opener lies in his fitness as he is quite injury prone. If that gets sorted out, there will be no stopping this sensation what so ever. Speaking about the home season, Rahul got one big century against England at Chennai as his knock of 199 was brilliant, to say the least. It was against Australia however, that Rahul stood up and stood in absolute style and dominance. In 7 innings, the Karnataka batsman went on to notch 6 half centuries and he ended the home season with an average of 50.57. Rahul’s biggest test, though, will come overseas once India begins their next round of tours.
