In his short captaincy career, we have seen Kohli going up to Dhoni time and again for inputs and ask his take on setting the fields. Both have been champions for their country and have a great mutual respect for each other. With Kohli not being the calmest guy around, Dhoni’s composure might help him build the team in the best possible manner.
He has a great cricketing brain which will definitely help Kohli as he hopes to build the team for the 2019 World Cup. It will be ideal for Dhoni to play till the 2019 World Cup given his wealth experience but the time hasn’t come yet to take a call on the former captain’s future yet with the World Cup being still 2 years away.
