5. Proven finisher time and again
Though Dhoni hasn’t been able to finish off matches on a consistent basis in the recent past, he still remains one of the best finishers in the world. We can’t deny the fact that Dhoni isn’t the same old Dhoni he used to be 4 5 years back but with the wealth of experience, he has while chasing he should walk into any playing XI in the world.
He has shown glimpses of his aggressive style but hasn’t been able to dish out the big knocks on a consistent basis. But given his agility and ability to play the big shots even today, he should remain India’s best bet at least in the coming year or so.
