5 reasons why Indian cricketers fail to be youth icons

They never talk about burning issues

Indian cricketers have never shown the courage of speaking  about burning issues when a journalist asked them about it. They avoided the question.  They fear of being losing the politically sensitive Indian fans. They showed their integrity on the cricket field. But those fans who made them popular all around the world never got the price of help from their icon.

Suresh Raina once praised Kanhaiya Kumar for raising slogans for ‘Azadi’- getting rid of poverty and extortion. But Twitterati on the same day trolled him on twitter terming him anti-national. The cricketer at least showed the courage of standing for those underprivileged  people when other great Indian cricketers shut their mouth even knowing the reality of India.
